At the World Governments Summit, the Prime Minister of Kyrgyzstan, Adylbek Kasymaliev, held important negotiations with the Vice President and Deputy Prime Minister of the United Arab Emirates, Sheikh Mansour bin Zayed Al Nahyan.
During the meeting, he expressed gratitude for the opportunity to participate in the summit and for the traditional hospitality, as well as conveyed best wishes and greetings from the President of Kyrgyzstan, Sadyr Japarov, to Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan and Sheikh Mansour bin Zayed Al Nahyan.
Kasymaliev emphasized that bilateral relations between Kyrgyzstan and the UAE have significantly strengthened in recent years, and starting from early 2025, the UAE embassy will begin operations in Kyrgyzstan.
“The United Arab Emirates occupies an important place among Kyrgyzstan's trading partners in the Middle East region,” he noted.
The trade volume between the countries is expected to reach around 150 million US dollars in 2025, which is a positive sign. In this context, the 3rd meeting of the Kyrgyz-Emirati Intergovernmental Commission is planned to be held in Bishkek to further strengthen economic cooperation,” he added.
Kasymaliev also proposed to consider the introduction of a visa-free regime for citizens of Kyrgyzstan, which would simplify the conditions for staying in the UAE and promote the development of relations between peoples and business communities.
Additionally, he invited the Emirati side to actively participate in the investment forum “Cooperation Council of Arab States of the Gulf - Central Asia,” which will take place in Bishkek in April 2026.
The head of the cabinet also suggested sending representatives of major sovereign funds from the UAE to Kyrgyzstan to familiarize themselves with existing investment projects.
Sheikh Mansour bin Zayed Al Nahyan, for his part, noted the importance of cooperation between the two countries and confirmed the Emirati side's readiness for further development of interaction in the field of economy and business.
During the conversation, special attention was paid to issues of trade and economic cooperation, attracting investments, as well as implementing joint projects in key sectors.
