Maksat Alimov, a recognized master of Kyrgyz futsal, has officially concluded his participation in the national team. His farewell match took place during the group stage of the 2026 Asian Cup, with the team facing South Korea.
Alimov made his debut for the national team in 2013 when he played in the qualifying matches for the 2014 Asian Cup. Throughout his career, he participated in five Asian Cups, and from 2018 to 2025, he served as the team captain. During this time, he scored numerous important goals and became a key figure, inspiring the team to success.
