Sixteen teams are participating in the competition, which are divided into four groups in the first stage. Based on the results of the group stage, the two best teams from each group will advance to the quarterfinals.
The Kyrgyz national team, known as "Ak Shumkary," is in Group A, where its opponents are the tournament hosts — the Indonesian team, as well as the national teams of Iraq and South Korea. The Kyrgyz team will play its first match today against Iraq.

It should be noted that the teams secured their spots in the tournament thanks to their successful performances in the qualification stage, which took place from September 20 to 24, 2025, in various countries across Asia.
The Futsal Asian Cup is held under the auspices of the AFC, and matches in Jakarta will continue until February 7.
