An avalanche struck the Jylgyr pasture in the Kara-Kulja district
Rescue services in the Kara-Kulja district of the Osh region discovered the body of a 37-year-old man who became a victim of a snow avalanche. The search took place at the Jylgyr pasture, as reported by the press service of the Ministry of Emergency Situations.
The incident occurred on January 31, when a group of local residents went to the pasture for hunting. At that time, an avalanche descended upon them, and one of the men ended up buried under the snow.
According to the press service, 229 participants were involved in the rescue operation, including 19 emergency service rescuers with a drone, personnel from the Ministry of Defense and the Ministry of Internal Affairs, local authorities, as well as residents and specialized equipment.
