At the briefing, Olga Bryzgalova noted that there has been no mass dismissal of teachers despite the transition to a new education model. She provided data on the shortage of teachers over the past three years:

in May 2023 - 698 teachers;
in May 2024 - 894 teachers;
in May 2025 - 850 teachers.

As of January 2026, there are 761 vacancies in state and municipal schools in the republic.

Bryzgalova emphasized: "There is no significant outflow of teachers due to the transition to 12-year education - this falls within normal limits. The greatest shortage concerns teachers of natural sciences, and most of the vacant positions are in schools in the Chuy region and Bishkek."
