In the Issyk-Kul Region, they teach effective management of rural water supply
In the Issyk-Kul region, in the village of Kyzyl-Suu, a three-day training session dedicated to the development of justified water supply tariffs, financial planning, and organizing interaction with subscribers has concluded.
According to the Ministry of Agriculture, representatives of local municipal enterprises, ayil okmotu, council deputies, district officials, and active residents of the village participated in the training.
During the training, participants familiarized themselves with the legislative aspects of water supply in Kyrgyzstan, methods for calculating tariffs, financial planning, as well as the cost calculation of services and the use of billing systems.
The practical part of the program included group work on tariff calculations in Excel, analysis of real examples, and presentation of results. The municipal enterprise "Kyrgyz Ata Bulagy" from the Nookat district of the Osh region was cited as an example of successful practice.
Additionally, participants discussed aspects of working with subscribers, organizing information campaigns, and the stages of tariff approval. As a result of the training, they noted the importance of the knowledge gained and expressed their readiness to apply it in their work.
