The Ministry of Transport responded to passenger complaints on the Bishkek–Tokmok route

On January 30, the Department of Ground and Water Transport, together with the Chui-Bishkek Regional Administration, conducted an inspection of passenger transportation on the Bishkek-Tokmok route.

According to the Ministry of Transport, complaints were received on social media from citizens indicating the lack of minibuses after 19:00 on the Bishkek-Tokmok route. As a result, passengers have to resort to taxi services. Monitoring showed that on Fridays and Saturdays, the number of passengers traveling from Bishkek to Tokmok significantly exceeds average figures.

To address this issue, a meeting was held on February 2 with representatives of the companies servicing route lines No. 350 and No. 353. During the discussion, it was emphasized that there is an increase in passenger flow on weekends; however, after 20:00, the number of those wishing to travel decreases, making it difficult for drivers to cover their costs.

As a result of the meeting, a decision was made on the necessity to increase the number of trips and ensure stable passenger transportation. If necessary, reserve minibuses will be additionally engaged beyond the established schedule, and the total number of trips will also be increased.
