In Kyrgyzstan, over 111 million soms were paid to victims of industrial accidents in 2025
In 2025, the total amount of compensation paid to citizens of Kyrgyzstan injured at work was 111.057 million soms.
According to the Ministry of Labor, 28 inspectors conducted 1,173 inspections at enterprises, resulting in the identification of 1,885 violations of labor legislation. Among the registered incidents, 161 people were injured, of which 94 sustained serious injuries, and 63 people died.
The total amount of fines imposed on violators was 8.838 million soms, of which 6.936 million soms was paid. Over the year, the total accrued wages for workers reached 14.726 million soms.
In 2025, 120 forensic examinations were also conducted, 236 training events on labor protection issues were organized, 1,306 written inquiries from citizens were processed, and 6,541 oral consultations were provided.
The agency noted that systematic monitoring of compliance with labor legislation aims to protect workers' rights, improve discipline in the workplace, and ensure labor safety.
