In the city of Kara-Kul, they reported on the reduction of poverty and employment measures based on the results of 2025.

On January 26, a city board meeting was held in Kara-Kul, where the results for the year 2025 were summarized, as reported by the press service of the mayor's office.

Present at the event were Mayor Nurtilek Orozbaev, Adilet Akbaraliev, head of the presidential representative office in the Jalal-Abad region, Chairman of the City Council Chyngyz Kimsanov, as well as other heads of institutions and responsible employees.

The meeting included discussions on the implementation of the city's socio-economic development program for 2025 and the action plan, as well as tasks for 2026. Board members reviewed the report on completed work in the social, infrastructure, and economic sectors over the past year.

According to the information provided at the meeting, 7 projects were implemented using grants aimed at regional development. These included: repairs of buildings for the General Practice Centers No. 2 and No. 3, asphalting roads to social facilities, construction of a sidewalk from Serya Street to the central market, and the updating of the heating system in kindergartens "Kelechek" and "Balastan." Additionally, repairs were carried out at the preventive center in the village of Ketmen-Tobo.

Also, within the framework of the Jalal-Abad region development fund, a situational center was established, digital radio communications were provided, and the kindergarten "Kelechek" was equipped with necessary equipment and furniture. An important step was the acquisition of special equipment for managing municipal property through leasing.

Regarding social protection and labor, the poverty level decreased by 61 families compared to the previous year. Under the "Social Contract" program, 18 families received support of 150,000 soms and began engaging in livestock farming, beekeeping, taxi and freight transportation, trade, and beauty services. Unemployment decreased by 19 people, reaching 81%. 147 citizens found permanent employment, 30 people underwent training in sewing and computer operation, and 47 people were involved in paid public works.

In education, students achieved high results, taking 1st and 3rd places in regional Olympiads in chemistry, physics, English, and Russian languages, as well as 2nd place in the republican Olympiad "Zhas Pifagorlор." They also successfully participated in the first republican competition "Zhas Talanttar" and the XII open championship "Premium–2025," where they won prizes.

To support young specialists in healthcare, funds were allocated from the local budget, enabling 5 students to currently study in medical institutions at the initiative of Mayor Nurtilek Orozbaev.

Moreover, Kara-Kul took 3rd place among 31 cities in the republican competition "City Friendly to Children and Youth."

At the conclusion of the meeting, the head of the regional representative office raised important issues regarding the prevention of juvenile delinquency and the shortage of personnel in the education sector. The city leadership provided information on the ongoing work and plans regarding these issues.

All the issues raised at the meeting were discussed, additions were made, and specific instructions were given to heads of institutions for execution.
