The Minister of Labor inspected the work of rehabilitation and crisis centers in Bishkek

On January 26, the Minister of Labor, Social Security, and Migration of Kyrgyzstan, Kanat Sagynbaev, conducted an unscheduled inspection at the rehabilitation center "Kelechek" and crisis centers for women and children in Bishkek. This was reported by the ministry's press service.

At the "Kelechek" center, the director of the institution spoke about the center's work, the number of service recipients, and the team composition. At the time of the visit, there were 45 people present, including 33 children and 28 accompanying adults, as well as 12 children who attended the center in a day format.

After inspecting the center, the minister instructed to improve public awareness of the free services provided by the institution and to focus on an individual approach to each child to ensure effective rehabilitation assistance.

Next, Minister Sagynbaev visited crisis centers for women and children, accompanied by Vice Mayor Viktoriya Mozgacheva.

They visited the municipal crisis center "Ayalzat," which provides social and psychological support to victims of domestic and gender-based violence. In 2024-2025, according to the center's information, assistance was provided to 96 women and 185 children. The center offers temporary shelter, psychological assistance, social support, and legal consultations, as well as directs victims to specialized services. The main goal of the center's work is to ensure the safety and protection of the rights of women and children.

Additionally, the minister visited the "Single Window" center, where comprehensive assistance is provided to individuals affected by sexual violence and human trafficking. Here, psychological, medical, social, and legal support is offered in a safe and confidential environment.

Kanat Sagynbaev emphasized that the support and development of crisis centers is a key aspect of state policy aimed at protecting the rights of women and children, as well as preventing violence.
