The Osh City Hall reported that the problems identified in the school cafeteria "Zhetigen" have been resolved.
On January 28, Mayor Jenishbek Toktorbaev discovered deficiencies in the organization of food during a morning inspection. As a result of the inspection, the cook was replaced, and the quality of bread and pastries provided to the students was significantly improved.
The city authorities emphasized that control over the quality of school meals will be strengthened.
For reference, in Kyrgyzstan, 14 soms are allocated per day for the food of one elementary school student. In Bishkek, this amount from the city budget is 22 soms, while in Osh it is 15 soms.
