The Mayor of Bishkek, Aibek Junushaliev, accompanied by heads of city services, conducted an inspection of key infrastructure facilities in the capital.

During the visit, the project for the modernization of a section of Manas Avenue was discussed, which includes the construction of a new road interchange, the extension of Mederov Street along the Ala-Archa River, and the laying of Tabaldiev Street. The project is expected to begin in the spring of 2026. Once completed, Mederov Street will have two lanes of traffic along its entire length up to Manas Avenue.

The mayor instructed the relevant services to develop alternative routes for transport during construction, to inspect facilities located in the water protection zone, and to create a plan for the placement of residential buildings in the area.

After that, the mayor visited the municipal enterprise "Bishkeksvet," where various options for street lighting poles from different manufacturers were considered. Ultimately, an option for 8.5-meter tall poles made in China was chosen. Similar poles have already been installed on the Young Guard Boulevard, on the section from Bokonbaev Street to Jibek-Jolu Avenue. Aibek Junushaliev emphasized the importance of quality lighting in parks, squares, and places with large crowds of people.

Additionally, the mayor familiarized himself with the section of Kronstadt Street, where the road is planned to be extended from Messarosh Street to Fuchik Street.

During the inspection of sanitary pruning on Vasilievsky Tract, instructions were given to enhance the work on cleaning the roadside, raising tree canopies, and creating conditions for the installation of lighting poles. Currently, 60 employees from the municipal enterprises "Bishkekzelenstroy" and "Tazalyk" are working in this area.
