2,882 civil servants fined 13.7 million soms for incorrectly submitted declarations

In 2025, the Prosecutor's Office of the Kyrgyz Republic conducted an inspection regarding compliance with the regulations for submitting a unified tax declaration, which includes information about the income, expenses, obligations, and property of state and municipal officials. This was reported by the press service of the General Prosecutor's Office.

As a result of the inspection, it was found that 3,472 officials either did not submit a declaration for 2024, or did so late or with inaccurate data.

"Based on Article 438 of the Code of Offenses of the Kyrgyz Republic, cases were initiated regarding these facts, and the materials were sent to the judicial authorities for further consideration. As a result, 2,882 officials were fined a total of 13 million 674 thousand soms," the press service reports.

As for the remaining officials, the cases are at the stage of judicial proceedings.
