Nearly 3,000 officials fined in Kyrgyzstan for violations in submitting declarations
According to information provided by the General Prosecutor's Office of Kyrgyzstan, nearly 3,000 public officials have been fined a total of 13.6 million soms for violations related to the submission of declarations. In 2025, during a check of compliance with the requirements concerning the unified tax declaration of income, expenses, obligations, and property, the prosecutor's office found that 3,472 officials did not submit a declaration for 2024 or did so with violations of deadlines and provided inaccurate data.
“In accordance with paragraph 438 of the Code of Offenses of Kyrgyzstan, cases were initiated on these facts, and the materials were submitted to the court for further consideration. As a result, 2,882 officials were punished with fines totaling 13 million 674 thousand soms,” the press release states.
The materials concerning the cases of the remaining officials are currently in the stage of judicial proceedings.
