Igor Kudrenko has been appointed as the head coach of the Kyrgyzstan U-17 national football team.

Kudrenko is an experienced coach with an AFC "A" license and a FIFA Coach Educator diploma. Previously, he held important positions in the coaching staff of the national team of Kyrgyzstan, working alongside Alexander Krestinin and making a significant contribution to the team's achievements on the international stage.

In 2017, he achieved notable success by leading the U-23 team to victory at the Tsunami Cup tournament. Additionally, Kudrenko has served as the technical and sports director of the Kyrgyz Football Union and has coached clubs such as Dordoi (Bishkek), Bunyodkor, Lokomotiv (Tashkent), and Bars (Karakol), repeatedly becoming the champion of the Kyrgyz Premier League.

Kudrenko's appointment to the new position is seen as a significant step towards forming a strong generation of young footballers. Under his leadership, the U-17 team is preparing for the 2027 Asian Cup, with the qualifying matches scheduled to take place from August 29 to September 6, 2026.
