Teachers will teach in the regions
The Ministry of Education has announced the start of recruitment for candidates for the position of teacher as part of the "Teach for Kyrgyzstan – Modern Teacher" program, even if they have no teaching experience. A corresponding statement has been made by the department.
The goal of the program is to support school education in the regions of the country and to prepare a new generation of teachers who can become leaders in their field.
People from various professions are invited to participate, including those who do not have teaching experience but are eager to work in the education sector. Participants will teach in rural schools and small towns for two years while simultaneously acquiring modern competencies in pedagogy and leadership.
This program includes free master's degree training conducted in collaboration with the International University of Central Asia. Classes are held in a hybrid format, combining online lessons and in-person sessions. Upon successful completion of the course, graduates receive a state diploma and an international master's diploma.
Participants are guaranteed official employment, a scholarship, as well as mentorship from experienced teachers and ongoing methodological support. Additionally, they will be able to implement their own educational projects and become part of the international Teach For All network.
Applications for participation in the program can be submitted by:
– citizens with higher education;
– candidates willing to spend two years in regional schools;
– motivated specialists eager to work with children and develop professionally.
Applications are accepted until May 25, 2026.
As previously noted by Deputy Prime Minister Edil Baisalov in an interview with "Nomad TV," there is a need to replace 15-20% of current teachers with new ones who have no teaching experience.
