Currently, this establishment operates as a state enterprise under the administration of the president.
The inspection was initiated following the publication of information on social media on January 23, 2026.
During the inspection, it was found that major renovation work is underway in the entrance area on the first floor. It became known that the outdated technological equipment, which had been reported by the media, was dismantled and replaced with new equipment that is already in operation.
However, during the inspection, violations were discovered: there is peeling plaster in the inventory warehouse, corridors, and some production workshops, increased humidity, and insufficient ventilation has led to mold formation on the ceilings.
According to information from the Sanitary and Epidemiological Supervision, these factors indicate the need for a major renovation of the kitchen facilities. A problem with the presence of cockroaches in the kitchen and in the areas designated for food preparation was also recorded. In this regard, recommendations were made for cleaning and complete disinfection.
As a result of the inspection, based on the identified violations, the "Aurora" recreation center was fined in accordance with part 1 of Article 214 of the Code of Offenses, concerning violations of sanitary norms and public health protection requirements.
