The women's volleyball team of Kyrgyzstan will participate in the Nations Cup for the first time in its history, organized by the Asian Volleyball Confederation. This became known through an official announcement from the country's volleyball federation.

The participation of the national team was made possible due to its high position in the international ranking.

In the past two years, the team has achieved significant success, winning the trophy twice at the Central Asian Volleyball Association tournament. Currently, the Kyrgyz team ranks 62nd in the world ranking and 10th in Asia.

The Nations Cup will gather the 12 best teams from the continent: among them will be 7 participants who showed the best results in last year's tournament, and another 5 teams will qualify based on their ranking.

The competition will take place from June 6 to 14 in the Philippines. The teams will be divided into two groups, after which the top two teams from each group will continue to compete in the "Final Four." The remaining participants will compete for places 5 to 12.
