On Wednesday, at the recently opened secondary school No. 43, located in the residential area of "Ak-Bata," the mayor of Bishkek, Aibek Junushaliev, held a meeting with residents of the newly joined territories. This was reported by the press service of the city municipality.
Residents from the districts of "MTF-2," "Nurkhojo-Ata," "Ak-Bata," "Ak-Zhar," "Lebedinovka," "Alamudun," "Lower Ala-Archa," and "305-MAB," which were included in the Sverdlovsk district as a result of the administrative reform, attended the meeting.
During the discussion, important social and infrastructure issues were raised, such as water supply, road conditions, sewage, and the lack of public transport.
Regarding public transport and roads, Ulanbek Beyshenbaev, head of the transport department, stated that new eight-meter buses will only start operating after the repair and restoration of the road surface is completed.
The mayor added that road repair work will not begin until the issues with water supply and sewage are resolved. He also noted that, in accordance with the president's directive, a special Development Program for new districts until 2030 has been developed. The total budget for the program is approximately 9 billion soms, of which about 2.5-3 billion soms have already been allocated for its implementation this year.
Additionally, during the meeting, issues concerning land plots were discussed. Aibek Junushaliev noted that during road construction, the demolition of illegally erected economic structures and new foundations is planned, but previously identified illegal residential houses will not be demolished.
The mayor also emphasized that the emergence of new illegal constructions in the future is unacceptable.
As a result of the meeting, the mayor instructed the heads of the relevant services and departments to take prompt measures to address the raised issues and establish deadlines for their implementation.
