It is proposed to add a point to the list of state awards concerning the title "People's Teacher of the Kyrgyz Republic."
As the author of the bill explained, this title existed in the document from 2001 but was excluded from the new law adopted in 2017.
According to the data provided in the justification of the bill, from 2001 to 2017, the title "People's Teacher" was awarded to 25 individuals, but as of today, only seven of them remain.
The deputy emphasized that public recognition and awarding of teachers for their work and achievements contribute to enhancing the prestige of their profession.
