The number of foreign citizens increased by 18.6% compared to 2024.
According to the Border Service of the Kyrgyz Republic, in 2025, 20 million 978 thousand 965 foreigners entered the country.
This is 18.6% more than in 2024, indicating a significant increase in interest in Kyrgyzstan among tourists, travelers, and businesspeople.
The dynamics of visits are as follows:
• 2023 — 17,480,097 people;
• 2024 — 17,682,929 people (an increase of 1.2%);
• 2025 — 20,978,965 people (+18.6% compared to 2024).
In total, in 2025, 37 million 50 thousand 223 people and 3 million 260 thousand 642 vehicles crossed the state border.
Despite the significant increase in the number of visits, border security measures have been strengthened. Last year, 28,593 people with invalid documents were identified, and 28,006 citizens were denied entry at the border.
