In Parliament, the issue of mass layoffs during leadership changes was raised.
At the meeting of the Jogorku Kenesh, deputy Yrysbek Atazhanov drew attention to the problem of mass layoffs that occur when a new leader comes into an organization with their team and dismisses long-serving employees.
Atazhanov asked how the rights of these workers are protected in such situations.
The Deputy Minister of Labor, Social Security, and Migration, Kamchybek Dosmatov, responded that when citizens appeal to the Labor Protection Service, an inspection is mandatory, and an order is issued. If the citizen disagrees with the decision, the case can be taken to court.
According to Dosmatov, in 2025, the Service has already conducted 1,183 inspections based on incoming applications.
