After the holidays, the incidence of influenza and ARVI in Kyrgyzstan has risen again. On the air of the program on "Birinchi Radio," family doctor of the Central Medical Center No. 1, Aziza Aslanova, emphasized the need to adhere to preventive measures.

She noted that with the onset of cold weather and after the New Year holidays, there has been an increase in the number of sick people. "We recommend avoiding crowded places unless absolutely necessary, as viruses spread very quickly and easily through the air. It is enough to be in the same room with an infected person to get infected," Aslanova explained.

If it is necessary to go to public places, the doctor advises using masks. It is important to change them every two to three hours and to wash hands afterward; the mask should fit snugly against the face.

Aslanova also emphasized that parents should teach their children the basic rules of personal hygiene, including handwashing after outdoor activities. According to her, one should dress according to the weather conditions.

Additionally, she reminded about the importance of regular ventilation of rooms, wet cleaning, balanced nutrition, and physical activity to reduce the risk of viral diseases.
