An ecological survey of the area is being conducted

In Bishkek, comprehensive monitoring of the impact of the waste processing plant on the ecosystem is being carried out at the sanitary landfill. This information was provided by the Department of Environmental Monitoring under the Ministry of Natural Resources, Ecology, and Technical Supervision of the Kyrgyz Republic.

On January 19, 2026, specialists conducted sampling of industrial emissions at the site of the plant located at the municipal sanitary landfill.

The studies aim to assess the impact of this enterprise on the environment.

As part of the ongoing monitoring, laboratory analyses are being conducted on various indicators, including nitrogen oxides, sulfur oxides, nitrogen dioxide, carbon monoxide, and particulate matter (dust).

Additionally, on January 16, 2026, a comprehensive monitoring was carried out in the area adjacent to the enterprise: additional samples of atmospheric air, soil, and water from the Ala-Archa reservoir were collected.

To prevent potential negative impacts on the environment, regular ecological monitoring is planned to be conducted once a month.
