The Ministry of Economic Development revoked the license of the company whose products contained pork.
“There has already been a case where pork was found in products labeled as halal. The company 'Rikha' did not correctly pass the accreditation process. Therefore, its license was revoked,” added the deputy minister.
Almaz Tairbekov, head of the Halal Industry Development Center, reported that laboratories capable of detecting the presence of pork DNA, as well as other animals such as dogs and donkeys, operate within the veterinary inspection of the Ministry of Water Resources, Agriculture, and Processing Industry.
“The laboratories accredited in Bishkek and Osh conduct analysis of all products,” he concluded.
