In Kyrgyzstan, there is a renewed increase in ARVI and influenza
As reported by the agency, the incidence rate increased by 28.8% compared to the previous week.
Among all the patients, 76.7% are children under 14 years old. Hospitalization was required for 17.4% of those infected, which amounts to about 2,700 cases. The incidence rate is above the national average in Bishkek, Osh, as well as in Batken, Chui, and Talas regions.
Since October 2025, influenza type A has predominantly been circulating in the country, along with registered cases of influenza type B and COVID-19.
Among the viruses causing ARVI, adenovirus, rhinovirus, and parainfluenza viruses are the most widespread.
