In Kyrgyzstan, 12,124 cases of ARVI and influenza were registered in a week

From January 5 to 12, Kyrgyzstan recorded 12,124 cases of acute respiratory viral infections and influenza. This was reported by Sultan Suranbaev, a doctor from the Department of State Sanitary and Epidemiological Surveillance, in an interview on "Birinchi Radio."

According to him, this is a 27% increase compared to the previous week.

Suranbaev noted that various types of viruses have been registered so far, including rhinovirus, adenovirus, parainfluenza, and others. Among the identified cases, there is also influenza, with influenza A being predominant, while cases of influenza B are less common.

The specialist added that statistical data collection is carried out monthly, and analysis and epidemiological monitoring are conducted weekly.
