The Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Kyrgyz Republic and TSARKA launched a project against financial fraud
A joint project aimed at protecting citizens from financial fraudsters has been launched by the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Kyrgyzstan and the Cybersecurity and Digital Innovations Development Center TSARKA. This was announced in an official statement from the Ministry's press service.
An important step in this collaboration was the signing of a memorandum between the two organizations.
The project is based on successful international experience that has proven effective in countries such as Japan, Singapore, and the United Kingdom. One of the key elements of the initiative is the "visual pause" — special cutouts of police officers placed near ATMs, which help reduce the psychological pressure from fraudsters and encourage citizens to stop, think, and make an informed decision.
Research shows that such measures can reduce the number of financial crimes by 40%. As part of this initiative, the Ministry of Internal Affairs and TSARKA aim to provide preventive protection for the financial well-being of citizens.
