A joint project aimed at protecting citizens from financial fraud has been initiated by the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Kyrgyzstan in partnership with the organization TSARKA. This was announced in a press release from the ministry.

The signed memorandum of cooperation is based on successful international experience demonstrated in countries such as Japan, Singapore, and the United Kingdom.

A key element of the project is the "visual pause": special models of police officers placed near ATMs will help reduce psychological pressure from fraudsters and allow citizens to stop, assess the situation, and make a thoughtful choice, the press service's message states.

The Ministry of Internal Affairs also notes that similar measures in global practice lead to a 40 percent reduction in the level of financial crimes.

The initiative of the Ministry of Internal Affairs and TSARKA is aimed at the prevention and protection of the financial security of the population.

TSARKA is a center for the analysis and investigation of cyberattacks, conducting audits of systems for vulnerabilities, penetration testing, investigating cyber incidents, and assisting companies in creating reliable protection.
