According to the press service of the FOMS, patients suffering from oncological diseases can expect free treatment if they require a repeat operation within a year after the first one. In such cases, hospitalization also does not require a co-payment for treatment, just like during the initial admission.

Furthermore, during inpatient treatment, no additional charges should be applied for the following services:

The medical organization is also obliged to provide patients with the necessary medications that are included in the list of essential medicines (PZVLS). If such medications are lacking (which can be checked against the daily list posted in the department), the patient has the right to purchase the medications independently.

These conditions are defined within the framework of the State Guarantees Program.
