It is important to note that during inpatient treatment, medical institutions cannot charge for specialist consultations, surgeries, anesthesia, postoperative wound care, and the conduct of laboratory and diagnostic studies. Furthermore, the healthcare organization is obliged to provide patients with necessary medications from the list of essential drugs. If the required medications are not available in the hospital, the patient has the right to purchase them independently.
