The President has established a new publishing house "Kyrgyz Tuusu," which will include the newspaper Slovo Kyrgyzstana, and the magazines "Baichichekey" and "Ala-Too."
The main goal of this measure is to strengthen state information policy, develop the print base, ensure the stable functioning of state media, and optimize budget expenditures.
The new publishing house will include the following previously existing organizations:
- the publishing house "Kyrgyz Tuusu",
- the publishing house "Slovo Kyrgyzstana",
- the children's magazine "Baichichekey",
- the literary and artistic magazine "Ala-Too".
At the same time, the editorial offices of the newspaper "Zhetkinchek" and the magazine "Kyrchin" will be closed.
The new publishing house is set to increase its staff by 22 people, and regulations, a staffing schedule, and a budget have been developed.
The Office for Monitoring the Implementation of Presidential and Cabinet Decisions will oversee the execution of this decree.
