The President initiated the unification of state media and the creation of a publishing house
This step is aimed at developing state information policy, strengthening the printing infrastructure, as well as ensuring the effective operation of state media and optimizing budget expenditures.
The Cabinet of Ministers has been tasked with uniting several state media and publishing organizations, including the publishing house "Kyrgyz Tuusu," "Slovo Kyrgyzstana," the children's magazine "Baichichekey," and the literary and artistic magazine "Ala-Too." The editorial offices of the newspaper "Zhetkinchek" and the magazine "Kyrchin" will be liquidated.
As a result of the merger, a new state publishing house "Kyrgyz Tuusu" will be created. The Cabinet of Ministers is required to develop and approve the regulations for the new institution, as well as its staffing schedule and budget. At the same time, the staff of organizations in the field of culture, art, and information will be increased by 22 positions.
The decree comes into effect from the moment of its official publication.
