Ayaz Bayetov's Vice-Premier Status Extended: President Accelerates Debureaucratization

President of the Kyrgyz Republic Sadyr Japarov has signed a new decree aimed at further optimizing state governance and reducing bureaucratic procedures.

Within the framework of this document, the continuation and deepening of existing initiatives aimed at improving the quality of public services and increasing the efficiency of government institutions are provided. All government bodies have been instructed to develop and implement measures in accordance with the overall state strategy.

According to the decree, Ayaz Baetov, who holds the position of Minister of Justice, has been granted expanded powers to coordinate the work of government bodies in the area of debureaucratization and enhancing the efficiency of state governance. His status as Deputy Chairman of the Cabinet of Ministers will be extended until July 1, 2026.

In connection with the new appointments, Ayaz Baetov has been relieved of his position as Director of the National Institute of Strategic Initiatives under the President, which he held concurrently.

Furthermore, previously issued presidential decrees — No. 83 dated March 10, 2025, and No. 269 dated September 19, 2025, which concerned additional measures to improve the functioning of the civil service and reduce bureaucracy, have been revoked.

This decree will come into force upon its official publication.
