Kyrgyzstan Temporarily Bans the Export of Waste Paper and Paper Waste

The government of Kyrgyzstan has decided to impose a temporary restriction on the export of processed paper and cardboard, classified under the EAEU Customs Code 4707. This decree will come into effect within 15 days.

According to the document, the ban will be in place for six months and will take effect three days after its official implementation. Exceptions include transit shipments and humanitarian aid, which will be carried out at the government's discretion.

The Ministry of Economy and Commerce has been instructed to notify the World Trade Organization and the Eurasian Economic Commission about this temporary ban. Additionally, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs must inform the Executive Committee of the CIS in the established manner.

Customs and border services will need to take necessary measures to prevent the illegal export of waste paper and paper waste.
