Nurlanbek Turgunbek uulu expressed his remarks at the parliamentary meeting
At the parliamentary meeting on January 14, Speaker Nurlanbek Turgunbek uulu emphasized the importance of adhering to the requirements for the preparation of legislative proposals, particularly noting the priority of the Kyrgyz language.
He stated that all legislative proposals must be developed in the state language and then translated into the official language. “Every legislative proposal must first be written in Kyrgyz. Only after that should it be translated into another language. I ask you to take this into account,” said the Speaker, highlighting the necessity of strict compliance with this requirement.
The Speaker stressed that special attention should be paid to this issue when developing legislative initiatives.
