Young Talents: Schoolgirl Mayram Shamilieva from Karakol Creates Her Works Through Handicrafts
From an early age, she has shown an interest in creativity, trying her hand at various techniques such as bead weaving, origami, and sewing. However, she finds the greatest satisfaction in creating dolls and soft toys.
“It’s important for me to see how something alive and warm is created from simple materials,” Mayram shared her thoughts.
Her family has always supported her hobbies, which has played a significant role in her creative development. The schoolgirl expresses special gratitude to her English teacher, who inspired her to believe in herself and strive for new heights.
“My favorite works are dolls and toys because I put a lot of effort and emotions into them. Creating one toy takes from several days to several weeks, depending on the complexity and the idea. I draw inspiration from the internet and listen to my teacher's advice. In my creations, I try to convey warmth and joy so that they bring smiles to people,” she spoke about her creativity.
In addition, Mayram actively participates in various events and volunteer projects, where she shares her experience and creativity.
Most of her skills she acquired independently by studying video tutorials and patterns.
In the future, she plans to continue developing her skills, creating new characters, and mastering more complex techniques.
Mayram advises her peers not to compare themselves to others and not to be afraid of making mistakes, as experience comes with practice.
