The acceptance of comments and suggestions regarding the General Development Plan protocol until 2050 continues in Bishkek and will last until January 19, 2026. The city leadership provided this information.
As stated in the mayor's office, on January 12, 2026, the results of the review of appeals and suggestions from the city's residents were published on the official portal.
According to the regulatory document "On the Conduct of Public Hearings on Urban Planning Documentation in the Kyrgyz Republic," citizens have the opportunity to send their comments and suggestions to the executive body of local self-government that organized these hearings within seven days from the date of publication of the protocol, as noted in the announcement.
In this regard, the mayor's office informs that participants of the public hearings who disagree with the content of the protocol and submitted their comments by December 25, 2025, can send their proposals until January 19, 2026, in the established manner.
All comments and suggestions can be submitted through the official website of the Bishkek mayor's office in the "Citizen Appeals" section or provided in writing at the single window of the mayor's office at: Chuy Avenue, 166, marked "General Plan 2050," in accordance with the KR Law "On the Procedure for Considering Citizen Appeals."
It is important to note that the zoning scheme is currently not final and will be refined taking into account the received proposals.
