The Bishkek City Hall has published the results of public hearings and the amendments made to the General Plan project for the capital, which is projected until 2050.

The development of the General Plan was carried out in 2025 by the Bishkek City Hall in collaboration with the Research Institute of Prospective Urban Planning. This document outlines the key directions for the development of the capital, taking into account demographic, infrastructural, and environmental aspects. Public hearings on the project took place in Bishkek on December 24-25, 2025.

High-ranking city officials, plan developers, representatives of state and private organizations, as well as active citizens and journalists participated in the discussions. During the hearings, proposals and comments regarding the future development of the city were voiced.
