In collaboration with the Research Institute of Prospective Urban Development, the Bishkek city administration presented the General Plan project in 2025, which outlines the strategic directions for the capital's development, taking into account demographic, infrastructure, and environmental aspects.
Public hearings on this project took place on December 24-25, 2025, in Bishkek.
The event was attended not only by city leaders and plan developers but also by representatives of relevant services, actively interested citizens, media, and government agencies. During the discussions, various ideas, comments, and recommendations regarding the city's future were proposed.
