The number of patients waiting for appointments at the Osh Interregional Combined Clinical Children's Hospital has significantly increased, causing dissatisfaction among citizens. This situation has been discussed on social media.

According to the hospital director, Zhyrgalbek Tolorov, the increase in visits is related to the end of the holiday weekends and the rise in the number of patients needing outpatient care.

Tolorov reported that many residents prefer to go directly to the hospital, bypassing family doctors, and come without referrals. Most patients arrive in the morning hours—from 09:00 to 11:00—which leads to the formation of queues. "Queues exist even today, but all patients are under control: they are given tickets and directed to the appropriate departments. To improve the situation, more registrars have been added—if three were working yesterday, today there are already four. The situation is under control," the director clarified.

On the day the video was recorded, about 600 people visited the medical institution. The hospital employs 630 medical staff, allowing them to accept registered patients and open additional wards. On weekends, the medical staff worked in enhanced mode, without days off.

The city administration of Osh noted that in order to prevent acute respiratory viral infections and pneumonia, family medicine centers operate without days off.

According to the directive from the Ministry of Health, the working hours of family medicine centers are as follows:

- on weekdays — from 08:00 to 20:00;

- on Saturday — from 08:00 to 18:00;

- on Sunday — from 08:00 to 14:00.
