The Ministry of Health commented on the situation that arose after the video recording was circulated. According to them, such queues are usually observed after weekends and holidays, when there is a sharp increase in the number of requests for outpatient care and consultations with specialized doctors. The director of the OMDKB, Zhyrgalbek Tolorov, reported that on January 13, about 600 patients visited the hospital, while the day before, on January 12, approximately 800 children passed through the clinical diagnostic department.

The Ministry of Health noted that the hospital has the necessary infrastructure for planned admissions: 18 doctor's offices, three registration desks, two cashiers, and two payment terminals are operational. Queues typically form in the morning hours when obtaining tickets, but by 11:00 AM, the flow of patients decreases, and the queues shorten.

At the same time, the ministry pointed out the problem that many parents come to the hospital without referrals from local doctors at the Family Medicine Centers. The OMDKB is a tertiary level institution, and the clinical diagnostic department is not intended for primary visits without routing.

It was also mentioned that alongside the clinical diagnostic department, specialized services such as the trauma unit, ENT department, surgery, intensive care, and nephrology and cardiology departments are operating in the hospital, which helps distribute patients by profiles.

The Ministry of Health assured that despite the high workload, all children receive the necessary medical care and consultations. Parents are advised to follow the routing and consult local pediatricians at the Family Medicine Centers to avoid long queues and receive referrals in a timely manner when necessary.
