At the IZO Museum, an exhibition by artist Ilgiz Edilson titled "Anatomy of Human Emotions" will take place.
The exhibition represents an exploration of human emotional experiences, reflected through color, form, and the composition of space. Visitors will be able to see four color environments, each demonstrating a variety of emotional states—from joy and trust to fear, anxiety, and determination—thus creating a cohesive journey of internal experience.
The concept of the exhibition resembles a labyrinth of feelings: each turn reveals a new facet of human experience, ranging from dazzling delight to the intimate silence of solitude. The paintings and sculptures form an architecture of emotions, where each element becomes part of a unified system of perception. This journey into the world of feelings helps viewers return to their own "self."
Ilgiz Edilson is a contemporary artist who lives and works in Bishkek. For over ten years, he has been studying emotional intelligence and the nature of human emotions, standing at the intersection of art, psychology, and neurobiology. His work is based on data from neuroscience and behavioral psychology. The artist uses an abstract visual language, aiming to convey subtle and often difficult-to-express states: tension, vulnerability, trust, fear, and the urge to act.
The exhibition will be open to visitors until February 1.
