At the IZO Museum, an exhibition by Ilgiz Edilson "Anatomy of Human Emotions" will take place.
According to the provided information, the artist explores the emotional experiences of people using elements such as color, shape, and spatial composition.
“Four color environments represent dozens of emotional states—from joy and trust to fear and determination. This exhibition is structured like a labyrinth of feelings, where each turn reveals new aspects of human experience: from vibrant delight to quiet solitude. The paintings and sculptures create an architecture of emotions, where each element becomes an integral part of a unified system of feelings. This journey into the world of emotions returns one to the true 'self',” the organizers emphasize.
Ilgiz Edilson is a contemporary artist who lives and works in Bishkek. For over ten years, he has been actively studying emotional intelligence, human emotions, and behavioral patterns, combining art, psychology, and neurobiology.
In his practice, the artist relies on data from neuroscience and behavioral psychology, using an abstract visual language to convey subtle and often difficult-to-describe states such as tension, vulnerability, trust, and fear.
The exhibition will open on January 16 and will run until February 1.
