Due to fog, three flights were delayed at Manas Airport

Due to heavy fog at the capital's international airport "Manas," three flights arriving from Istanbul, Sharm el-Sheikh, and Moscow have been delayed. Currently, visibility in the area is only 175 meters, which is significantly below the minimum allowable 800 meters.

According to the airport's press service, the flight that departed from Egypt was redirected to Tashkent.

The press service of OJSC "Airports of Kyrgyzstan" reported that a new second-category lighting signal system has been implemented at the airport. Additionally, work continues on the installation of third-category equipment. However, the final decision regarding landing in such challenging weather conditions always rests with the aircraft's crew.
