The Ministry of Internal Affairs made a statement regarding the video recording that has become the subject of active discussions on social media. The video captures a patrol officer pushing a man, causing him to end up on the road.
In the ministry's statement, it was clarified that on that day, the police officers were ensuring free passage for the transportation of a person suspected of a serious crime, under armed guard. During the temporary restriction of movement, one citizen did not comply with the lawful request of the officers and attempted to cross the road.
According to the information from the Ministry of Internal Affairs, during the attempt to quickly remove the man from the roadway, he lost his balance and fell. One of the witnesses to the incident immediately provided him with assistance and escorted him to a safe place.
The agency urged citizens to respect public order and follow the lawful instructions of the police officers engaged in ensuring safety.
