The GIK Explained the Calculations for Queue Members in the "Muras" Residential Complex


As part of the "Elden Sobol" program on the "Kabar" agency, Gulzat Totubaeva, head of the public relations department of the State Mortgage Company (GMC), spoke about the cost of housing for citizens waiting to receive apartments in the residential complex "Muras". One square meter here is valued at 78,705 soms.

The State Mortgage Company offers two main mechanisms for obtaining housing. One of them is rent with the option of subsequent purchase. Citizens who queue are given the opportunity to obtain mortgage housing for 25 years at an interest rate of 4% or 8% per annum, without the need for a down payment.

If, for example, a citizen wishes to purchase a one-room apartment with an area of 40 square meters in the "Muras" residential complex, the total cost will be about 3 million 100 thousand soms. In this case, if we consider the option for 25 years with an interest rate of 4% per annum, the monthly payment will be approximately 16 thousand soms,” Totubaeva explained.

She also noted that for those who have already purchased housing at a price of 650 dollars per square meter, the cost will remain fixed and will not be revised.
