Kyrgyzstan and Tajikistan Strengthen Tourist Cooperation

The Government of the Kyrgyz Republic has approved a new cooperation agreement in the field of tourism with the Republic of Tajikistan. The signing of the document took place on July 8, 2025, in Dushanbe.

According to the adopted resolution, the Ministry of Economy and Commerce of Kyrgyzstan has been designated as the responsible authority for implementing the terms of the agreement. This agency will coordinate interaction between the two countries in the field of tourism.

In addition, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs has been tasked with notifying the Tajik side about the completion of all necessary domestic procedures so that the agreement can come into effect.

The document will take effect ten days after its adoption.
