On Chyngyz Aitmatov Avenue, key stages of the construction of four underground pedestrian crossings have been completed on the section from the Southern Highway to Semetey Street.
Over the course of 10–11 days, specialists carried out a comprehensive set of works: they excavated pits, prepared the foundation, performed waterproofing, and installed concrete structures. After that, the structure was backfilled and covered with asphalt. Currently, traffic on the avenue has resumed.

However, in the area of the underground crossings located near the "Yntymak Ordo" Presidential Administration, as well as at the next structure, the extreme right lanes are temporarily closed for safety reasons.

The completion of work on the specified underground crossings took only 12 days. This is significantly faster than the construction of one crossing on the section from Akhunbaev Street to the Southern Highway, which required more than a month from the start of work.
In the near future, it is planned to begin construction of the entrances to the underground crossings and their interior finishing.
