In the capital of Kyrgyzstan, Bishkek, today 1,080 people celebrated their housewarming, having received apartments from the State Mortgage Company. Among them were both local residents and labor migrants who had long awaited their turn for their own housing.
Chynara Minbaeva, one of the new homeowners, shared her impressions of receiving an apartment from the State Mortgage Company.
“I was in the queue under the social category for 2.5 years. Today, I was handed the keys to my apartment directly from the hands of President Sadyr Japarov. Currently, I work in a restaurant, and when I applied for the queue, I was working at the 'Orto-Sai' market. I was allocated a one-bedroom apartment with an area of 51 square meters, as I have a daughter,” she said.
Also among those who received apartments was Kanshaim Nurmatova, who worked as a labor migrant in Moscow for 20 years. She has been waiting for housing for 1.5 years.
“I have four children. I flew in from Moscow at night to make it to the ceremony. I am overwhelmed with happiness!” she confessed.

This project includes the construction of a residential complex consisting of 39 blocks, which will have 4,754 apartments.
